Agnus Castus (Chaste Berries) also known as Monk's Pepper are well documented for the support of mare's hormonal cycles and to calm the mare's behaviour prior to its "season". Mares exhibiting performance problems during estrus have also benefited. Cushing's - Chaste Tree Berries provide nutritional support to the pituitary gland and whole endocrine system working alongside the body in its self-regulation. Chasteberries contain alkaloids and flavonoids ( a powerful antioxidant) and diterpenes as well as substances that are precursors to steroidal hormones. These compounds are believed to act as dopamine agonists, acting like a natural form of dopamine, giving signals which help to reduce levels of ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone), and other hormones released, which in turn lessens the clinical signs of Cushing's disease.

For animal use only, do not give to mares in foal.
